Fremont is Seattle's most eclectic neighborhood, claiming to be the center of the universe. Their motto is "De Libertas Quirkas" - or, "Free to be Peculiar". One of the most popular attractions is the Fremont Sunday Market, but the biggest event by far is the Fremont Solstice Parade which takes place every year near the summer solstice.
