Seattle photographer Howard Frisk Seattle area local freelance photographer. As a native of Seattle, he has chosen to specialize in photographing his own hometown, the beautiful Emerald City. Back in 1998, when posting photographs on the web was still something new, Howard creating a web site to showcase his Seattle area pictures. Soon after he created an online stock photography business, Seattle Photographs, and made his work available for licensing and as fine art prints.

As a native Seattle photographer, Howard's goal in photographing Seattle and the Great Pacific Northwest is to capture the beauty of this unique region of our country. It's true that it rains in Seattle for days on end, but when the sun finally breaks though the clouds Seattle becomes glorious, and Howard has the photographs to prove it. 

Howard's last project was for the Frommer's, one of the world's largest publisher of travel guidebooks. A shot list of over 100 Seattle area locations was provided, and less than two months was given to finish the project. The project was completed ahead of schedule, ad the guidebook will be available in January 2012.

Frommer's also chose Howard as a local Seattle photographer to be the photographer for their Seattle Day by Day guidebook, published back in December 2008. In the spring of 2008, Frommer's gave Howard a list of over 200 "top priority" locations to be photographed, in five weeks. The deadline was met, and Frommers was very pleased with the results.

Howard's work was featured in Smith-Western's 2010 and 2011 Seattle and Washington state calendars.
