Howard Frisk is a Seattle area freelance photographer. As a native of Seattle, he has chosen to specialize in photographing his own hometown, the beautiful Emerald City, the jewel of the Pacific Northwest. Back in 1998, when posting photographs on the web was still something new, Howard creating a web site to showcase his Seattle area pictures. Soon after he created an online stock photography business, Seattle Photographs, and made his work available for licensing and as fine art prints.

Howard's goal in photographing Seattle and the Great Pacific Northwest is to capture the beauty of this unique region of our country. It's true that it rains in Seattle for days on end, but when the sun finally breaks though the clouds Seattle becomes glorious, and Howard has the photographs to prove it.  

Howard recently completed his latest project for the well known guidebook publisher, Frommer's. They chose Howard to be the photographer for their recently published Seattle Day by Day guidebook. In the spring of 2008, Frommer's gave Howard a list of over 200 "top priority" locations to be photographed, in five weeks. The deadline was met, and Frommers was very pleased with the results.

For those of you who have seen the New Line Cinema's motion picture The Last Minzy, you may recall the final scene opens with the camera zoomed in on a photograph of Mt Rainer. It then zooms back and you realize it is a photograph hanging on a wall in an elementary school classroom. This was a photographs from Howard's extensive stock photo collection of Mt. Rainier pictures.

YOU can get free photographs - we need people for Seattle area photo shoots.

We regularly get requests for photographs of Seattle's landmarks, tourist attractions and famous places. Often we are requested to provide photographs that include people.

If you would like to participate in a Seattle area photo shoot, e-mail us a picture of yourself, with or without a significant other, or your family for consideration. In return for you time we will give you copies of the photographs we take - free photos for you. In the modeling industry, this is known as TFP (time for prints) or TFCD (time for photos on CD).
